Educational Psychologists help children or young people who are experiencing problems that slow down their successful learning, participation in school and other activities. These problems can include difficulties with learning and emotional and social problems.  The work they do includes counseling children and families to help solve conflicts and problems in learning and adjustment.

Three areas of specialization are availble:

 Full Psycho-Educational Assessments

A thorough and in-depth assessment which includes a Brain Map,  - a non-invasive process - which ensures an evaluation with a difference. The brain map (qEEG) provides rich additional data.  Parents/guardians will receive detailed feedback and a report based on the interpretation of the data. Using
the
results of the evaluation and brain map
together
will ensure a deep understanding of
the
challenge the person is experiencing.

Counseling

Today, talk therapies are used to help children come to terms with problems they may be facing with the aim of managing and overcoming them. Therapy is available online using a secure site, as well as face-to -face.

Neurofeedback training

Neurofeedback is a non-invasive, brain-based  intervention that trains the brain to function in healthier, more efficient ways.                                    (Courtesy of LLC Life counseling for NFB explanation video)
