Welcome

My name is Veronica Gomes and I am a trained and registered Educational Psychologist with a special interest in neuropsychology and developmental trauma. 

 

I have 30 years of experience as a teacher, including teaching children with special needs. I then trained as an educational psychologist and have 13 years of experience in the field.

I am trained and receive supervision in the area of Neurofeedback training. I attend ongoing training and certification courses as it is an evolving and exciting field.

 

I have been working internationally since 2016.  I started as a counselor and school psychologist at the American International School in Vietnam. I am currently a  counselor at an international school in Tokyo.

 

I specialize in comprehensive assessments and neurofeedback training along with other therapeutic approaches when helping the people I work with.

  • MEd=Master of education in the field of Educational Psychology. University of Johannesburg

  • BEd=Bachelor of education in the field of Education Psychology. University of Johannesburg

  • FDE, MBD= Further Diploma in Education; Minimal Brain dysfunction. Special needs. 

  • BA = Bachelors of Arts degree in Education and Psychology. University of South Africa

  • HED =Higher Education diploma in Elementary Education.
